Hello! My name is Clarissa and I am an English Teacher from the Philippines. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Baguio and a TEFL/TESOL certificate from International TEFL Academy. I speak both Filipino and English.

I have a background in international customer service, sales and the travel industry as I've worked in a business process outsource company for 10 years in various positions. 8 out of the 10 years of my work experience include functioning as a lead trainer and as a training manager for an international hotel chain where I taught communication, product and employee development modules.

My hobbies include reading novels and cooking. I also like watching movies and series. When I have the resources, I also love traveling solo and trying local dishes, meeting new people and learning about local cultures.

I use the communicative approach in my lessons. I like delivering classes that are light, simple, practical, customized and are geared towards the student speaking most of the time.
